Garlic and Parsley Pasta with Macadamia Oil




If you have a busy week and running a little late at night, this quick and easy dinner recipe will be a huge help.


Here is wat you will need:

400g of Spaghetti

1/4 cup of Macadamia oil

Salt (to salt the water

1/2 cup of salted water (salvaged after cooking the pasta)

6 loves of garlic

1 tsp of crushed chillies (leave out if you are not a fan of chillies)

2 tbsp of chopped parsley

Freshly ground Salt and Pepper to taste

Parmesan Cheese ( a must)


Here is wat you need to do:


  1. Boil water and pasta until ready to eat (read back of your packet for the perfect pasta cooking time)

  2. Keep 1/2 cup of the water and strain the rest of the water.

  3. Mix the Macadamia oil into the pasta and add salt and pepper.

  4. While the pasta is standing, finely slice the garlic cloves and cook in a pan on a very low heat until JUST cooked, be careful not to burn the garlic

  5. Add the crushed chillies, chopped parsley and pasta water

  6. Then add the pasta and just heat the pasta.

  7. Take off the heat and garnish with a generous amount of parmesan cheese

  8. Enjoy!



Cooks note:

Add steamed broccoli and roasted sesame seeds for an extra flavour and health kick
